Your DIY (Do It Yourself) Christmas tree

There is still plenty of time for the arrival of Christmas, but we are at an excellent time to think about some novelties that can be put in place for those dates. From Toldos Guardamar we want to share with you an idea completely different from what you have done before, an original Christmas tree completely made by you.

With a structure such as a stand or even you can make it with cardboard tubes and a pile of wool balls of many different colors, you can have the most colorful tree you could imagine.

For this, you need to create the structure with cardboard tubes, wood, porexpan or any other material with which you can work. You must build a firm base that does not move, and a vertical axis fixed to the base, which will create the main part of the structure.

Now, with a lot of balls of wool of many different colors we will be placing them at the base of the tree surrounding it in a circular way. The lower part will have as many balls as the circumference allows and once covered, we will place more balls at the next height until we reach the cup, where only a ball of wool should fit.

To prevent the balls from falling, they can be sewn together, a pair of stitches will suffice. In this way we will have them supported. Once finished, you can place all the figures you want. We can glue them, fit them, nail them with a pin … the limit is in the imagination!

It is very important that this tree is the furthest from any source of heat to avoid scares. For the rest, the colors remain in your hand, surely you will create a great combination that will allow you to have the most original Christmas tree you have made at home.
