Did you know that cats are the only animals that have three days dedicated in the year calendar?
The 8 th of August was founded, in 2002 ,by the International Fund for the Animal Welfare (IFAW) and other animal rights groups. Although it is also held on the 29th October, it was founded seven years ago by Colleen Paige, a pet lifestyle expert, to promote animal welfare. February 20, a date that was set by Internet users after the death of Socks, the cat of the family of ex President Bill Clinton. This cat lived along with the presidential family, between 1993 and 2001. When passed away it was about twenty years old and had to be sacrificed due to the cancer that it suffered. Many people believe that cats do not create an emotional bond with their humans like dogs so. It is not like this! Nothing is as tender as when a cat approaches the door of your house to greet you.
Another great myth is that cats and dogs hate each other. Of course not! Just as with dogs, it all depends on the character, the breeding and the personality of them both. There are many cats and dogs that live together and love each other.
