The beach is one of the places were we usually go with the arrival of good weather for enjoy a good dip, the company of family, couple or friends, take the children to play, sunbathing, etc. .

When we go to the beach it is very common to drink some soft drink or beer, have an ice cream or eat, for example. Can you imagine that everyone who goes to the beach throws their rubbish and does not pick them up? Both cleaning and recycling are essential, something supported by Toldos Guardamar, always betting on these aspects.

The importance of recycling and leaving the beach clean

Nobody says that we can’t eat or drink something on the beach, but it is common sense to collect everything when we are finished. Therefore, it is advisable to always carry an empty bag to collect all the waste we have generated and then recycle it.

In practically all the beaches we will find containers for recycling, and it is not true that it does not cost any work to respect the environment and deposit the waste in each container.

Although it should be known, each container has its own color and its purpose. Therefore, we will remind you so that you can recycle when you are on the beach. For example, the green container is designed for glass. In these containers you have to throw bottles, never broken glass, glasses, light bulbs, etc.

The yellow container is the one where the containers marketed in the national market are discarded and identified with the well-known symbol of the green dot. In this case we must differentiate two categories: metal objects, such as beer cans or soft drinks, aluminum containers, plates, cans, etc. You can also throw plastic objects like bags, dairy products, caps or plastic bottles, etc.

The blue container is for depositing paper and cardboard such as magazines or newspapers, food containers such as ice cream, commercial blisters, etc.

Finally, there is also the gray container (although in some cases it is dark green) and where you have to throw away toilet paper, sanitary pads, tampons, diapers, food scraps, etc.
