What do you want to achieve by celebrating World Dog Day?
This annual anniversary, seeks to pay tribute to the canine world, faithful pets, guide dogs, dogs that help people with mental disabilities, rescue dogs. - End shows where a dog is denigrated, punished, or mistreated.
- The recognition of the rights of dogs, (like those of other animals), and not treated as mere objects. That sterilizations and castrations (especially that of stray) are free and carried out by the municipalities.
- End the indiscriminate killing of dogs in some kennels.
- Encourage the responsible adoption of dogs. There are many dogs that have been abandoned, some are given as puppies and when they grow up, they are abandoned. In summer, there are people who, when planning their vacations, do not take into account where to leave their dog, and end up abandoning it.
