UNESCO declared May 17 as World Recycling Day. An opportunity to remember the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle strategy, which seeks to reorient the behavior of all citizens with a view to improving the environment.
Luckily, each year the popularity of this date has rebounded, making more countries join in the propagation of quality information on everything related to the recycling of different types of waste during this day.
For Toldos Guardamar it is a marked and very important day. It always has been, but this year 2020 is still our Green year. Unfortunately clouded by the pandemic that has us all on edge, and of course it is the priority now. But let’s not forget that everything is related. If we treat nature better by acting sensibly and less pollution, Mother Earth herself will provide us with an environment that allows us to lead a better and healthier life.
We believe it is never too late to change the trend. Now, despite the disaster, the air is purer and cleaner than ever, and that’s something we should keep when we can get back to normal.
We know that it will not be the same, that there will be social distancing, but this must also teach us that the Earth is a living being that we must take care of so that it can take care of us.
For this year Toldos Guardamar opens a new recycling plant in our remodeled facilities. It is one of the many changes prepared for this 2020. We do not emit any type of contamination, we separate the materials for their correct recycling, we collect and recycle the old awnings of our clients. In addition to working with energy efficiency and recycled materials such as paper and cups. That is why we invite you to visit us at our San Fulgencio facility to learn about our Green philosophy.
