Until November 15, 2000 you have to go back in time to find the origin of the date at hand. And it was at that time when the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) decreed on August 31 as International Solidarity Day.
“Solidarity is not only a requirement of a moral nature but also a precondition for the effectiveness of the policies of countries and peoples. It is one of the guarantees of world peace”.
In Toldos Guardamar we are convinced that solidarity is necessary, not only with people, but also with the environment. We also believe in the benefits of instilling solidarity to children, because they are the seed of the future, and what you are today … you will be tomorrow.

Learn to be supportive …:

• It will allow them to be much more tolerant.
• Significantly increase your respect for others.
• Put your grain of sand for a much better society.
• It is also a way to get them to “enrich themselves” emotionally and culturally. And that will allow them to know other realities and open their eyes regarding the real world.

In Toldos Guardamar we have been exercising the good art of solidarity for a long time. We collaborate with UNICEF, MSF (Doctors without borders), and group 07 (in support of rare diseases). And we also continue working on new collaborative commitments because for us solidarity, being able to help people, animals, and the environment is so important that it deserves our full attention.
