How to protect your awning from the wind?

To begin with, the most logical action before the arrival of a storm is to pick it up immediately. In general, an awning is designed to withstand wind gusts that do not exceed 40 or 50 km / h, so it is important that you check the weather conditions to make sure you pick up the awning on time, and thus avoid greater evils.

Now, if you are in an area where the wind blows continuously, we recommend that you place an awning with a special microperforated canvas for this type of environmental conditions. This canvas allows a greater fluidity of the wind through its small holes, in this way the destructive force exerted by the wind dissipates to a large extent, avoiding the mistreatment or destruction of the awning.

In addition to this, there is a type of awning that folds or rolls inside special drawers made of aluminum or other resistant material. In this way, when the wind speed increases we can quickly introduce the awning into this structure.
