It is true that almost everyone is eager for Christmas to come, and for those who are not, it will come anyway and we will have to face all those copious meals that can so harm us. However, you can choose healthy meals to prepare on these dates, I assure you that everyone will thank you. Here are some examples to impress your guests. Don’t miss them and take note!

Healthy Alternatives for Your Christmas Dishes

  • Incoming. In order not to consume too many calories, it is best to reduce the starters and avoid the more fatty ones. A good option is to opt for seafood, smoked salmon, different varieties of healthy salads, dried fruits, anchovies or anchovies and lean sausages such as pork loin or ham.
  • First course. A good seafood soup, a soft broth with noodles or consommé and a cream of vegetables or pumpkin will be a good choice for your first course. Also, your guests won’t be too full to enjoy the rest of the menu.

  • Dessert. Sweets are a problem when it comes to avoiding calories, but luckily there are many healthy options. It is best to use fruits such as pineapple, apricots, raisins, apples and plums. Finally, watch out for nougat, or your healthy meals won’t have done much good.
