Alicante is a city that can be known at any time of the year, especially during the summer season, which is when most visits are received from travelers from around the world. There is nothing better than renting a bicycle to get to know the city in a completely different way. Therefore, we must take into account the many Alicante bike routes we can do.
One of the advantages we have is that we can know the whole city by bicycle as well as many nearby areas, being able to stop when we want to enjoy the moment, take pictures, drink water, eat, etc. In addition to the bike path and riding an urban route, we can also visit the areas near this impressive destination.
For example, we can make a road route from Aigües to Alicante. It is a route that runs both by road and dirt paths and different towns. It begins at the town of Aigües and arrives in Alicante, traveling approximately 30 kilometers. To do it you have to have some preparation and endurance on the bike, although you do not have to do it whole, you can always start at any town that we find on the route.
Another option is to make our own route, check the different alternatives and distances to travel, finding one that suits what we can do. We can mountain bike through the area of the Sierra de Aitana or if we prefer, go by road to areas such as Xabia or Altea among other locations. For this, we must leave the bicycle for a walk and rent it according to the route we want to do.
Another interesting proposal is to make the route from Arenales del Sol to Santa Pola, which will allow us to enjoy some of the best views of this area of the Mediterranean. It is not a very long route, but we can stop to enjoy and take pictures of the moment whenever we want.
