Everyone knows that before sunbathing we must prepare to take care of the skin and not burn ourselves, but one of the mistakes of many people is to think that after sunbathing you do not have to do anything with the skin.

What you should do after sunbathing

After sunbathing, a good idea is to put ourselves in the shade under any of the sun protection systems like the ones we offer in Toldos Guardamar, although the most advisable thing is to take a shower with fresh water, which will provide a remarkable improvement in the oxygenation of the skin and it will also give you energy.

After that, it never hurts to use moisturizer, where we should try to make it a specific one after sunbathing. If you have aloe vera or almonds, it will be much better because, in addition to moisturizing, it will properly nourish the skin.

In the market there is a wide range of products for after sun exposure, which should become part of the routine, because, in addition to nourishing, they also produce a cooling and soothing effect, especially when you have been long exposed to the sun. There are others that encourage the production of skin pigmentation to help make the tan more intense and make it last longer

Finally, it is important to bear in mind that although exfoliation is one of the best ways to prepare the skin so that it can assimilate the active principles of moisturizers, you should never exfoliate after sunbathing.

Otherwise, the only thing that will be achieved is to irritate the skin and make it look redder than it may already be after sunbathing for a few hours.
