With the arrival of summer you can do many different activities ,such as going to the beach, take a dip in the pool, sunbathing, enjoy a family meal in the garden under the protection of any of the sun protection systems of Toldos Guardamar, go on a trip, etc.

When summer comes, many precautions should be taken, such as applying creams with a high protection factor to maintain the health of our skin; be careful with pickpockets in some tourist places or even look for ways to save water this season, something that we are going to talk about in this article.

Tips to save water in summer

Plants need to be watered at any time of the year and, in summer, you have to pay special attention, so it is advisable to water them either early in the day or at night. If it is done in the hottest hours, the water will evaporate quickly and the plant will not take advantage of the irrigation, so we will have wasted the water.

Showering instead of bathing is another alternative to saving water at home. Also, when we are applying the soap, we must turn off the water to avoid waste, something that can save hundreds of liters per year.

Every washing machine uses between 60 and 90 liters each time, so you have to control the washing program a lot and try to fill it to the maximum so you do not waste more water with another wash.

Brushing your teeth is necessary every day, but you may be the one who keeps the tap open while brushing your teeth. A gesture as simple as turning it off it will allow you to save hundreds of liters per year.

To finish, both the faucets and the water tap must be turned off if you are going on vacation ,or if you are just going to spend the weekend away. Not only will we avoid a flood due to a leak, but we can also avoid spending more water than we should.
