A company specializing in sun protection systems such as Toldos Guardamar only becomes the leader in the sector, by betting on offering all its customers products of the highest quality. Within their awnings are those that have UPF 80+ protection factor.

What is UPF 80+?

UPF 80+ is the english acronym of Ultraviolet Protection Factor, and as with sunscreen creams, can be found in different protection factors, with 80+ being the one that offers the most protection.

To be able to establish a UPF that provides maximum security for any kind of awning and for all users, a large number of aspects are taken into account and the fabrics that will become an awning should be submitted to different sun protection tests for the best results.

All this is possible thanks to the Hohenstein Institutes, founders of the important International Community of tests applied in everything related to UV protection. In their research they have developed the UV Standard 801 in which different aspects of great importance are taken into account, such as the humidity and aging of the textile, its elongation or even its maturation.

Thanks to the tests to which the fabric is subjected, canvas that offer a great solar protection can be obtained, which makes them ideal for the manufacture of awnings, much more effective and safe for everyone.

The fact Toldos Guardamar includes this certification in its products makes clear the concern of this firm to offer all its customers products of the highest quality, positioning itself as one of the main references in Spain in terms of awnings.

Do you still do not know the awnings equipped with this level of protection?
