The swing arm awning is a special type of awning that uses an extendable mechanism driven by an internal chain. As in most awnings, the articulated can be extended manually or by means of an electric motor with remote control. They can also be activated automatically, that is, their opening or closing will depend on the weather conditions captured by a sensor.

In general, articulated awnings are widely used in terraces, shopping areas, restaurants, bars or cafeterias, since their characteristics and technical specifications make them ideal for large and clear spaces.

Characteristics of articulated arm awnings

Articulated arm awnings are also known as extensible awnings or invisible arm awnings and can be installed with a small protective structure, called a “box”, which allows the shelter of the canvas, as well as the extensible arms when they are in the closed position.
