Why is it so difficult for me
have unhappy moments?
Because I’ve always had
goals full of happiness.
Eduard Punset
Today, August 1st, we not only start a new month, but we also celebrate World Joy Day. At Toldos Guardamar we are convinced that joy, happiness … heals us inside and out. In this turbulent year 2020, we think that celebrating a day like this is more necessary than ever.
You have to go back in time, to the years 2010 and 2011, to find the origin of this World Day of Joy. And it was then when, within the framework of the First Congress of Chilean Cultural Management, Alfonso Becerra presented a project to celebrate the day of joy.
Specifically, it established that, just as there were other dates that celebrated historical events, political or even religious and popular dates, it was necessary that this feeling had a special day. He considered that it was essential to keep joy in mind, to give it the value it deserved, to learn to live it and even to be able to extol the fact that it represents an important benefit for human beings.
Each person may find joy in something different. However, it is clear that there are common things that fill us all with happiness and that make us feel full. We are referring to aspects such as these:
Listen to a “I love you” from someone we love.
For Toldos Guardamar, happiness consists in trying to make life happy for others. Being happy depends on ourselves and on setting goals that are full of happiness.
