No one can doubt that electricity has become indispensable in the world. This electricity can be obtained from different energy sources. We could say that these are the main sources of energy in the world:
It collects natural energy from the sun, using collector panels that create the right conditions for its transformation into electrical energy.
The installations can be of greater or smaller size, but in any case they allow to provide many homes, for example, with hot water or refrigeration, as well as an important complement in the use of electricity.
The main drawback is that not all parts of the world receive enough solar energy, due to their geographical location, to be a significant source of energy.
Its use has been increasing over time until today. Large wind turbines, or mills, are used to activate a generator that produces electricity.
However, the ecological impact that many of these wind farms are having is beginning to reveal that it may not be the ideal energy solution that it was apparently thought it could be at first.
Most cities and towns in the world base their electricity supply on that obtained from hydroelectric power plants. The power of the water is used to drive the generators that will produce the electricity to be used later.
There has always been a debate about the safety of using this type of energy. Yet it remains one of the main sources of energy available to the world today.
The main problem, beyond the issue of safety, is related to the disposal of its highly radioactive and polluting waste.
Obtaining gasoline, one of the main oil derivatives, and the massive use that has been made of it for years does not require much comment. Natural gas is gaining prominence today, even as a cheaper alternative to the usual use of gasoline in vehicles.
The reserves of these fossil fuels are limited, so looking for alternatives to them becomes highly necessary.
