The celebration of Carnival can be a good occasion to set a good example in the field of ecology on our part, using recycled materials to create our costumes. Creativity and imagination, not without respect for the environment.
Apart from being an extremely cheap disguise in terms of the cost it will represent, the variety of possibilities is greater than we imagine.
The garbage bags, if they are black, can be combined with many other elements.
For the little ones, a good option is to dress up as a superhero. It is true that most of them wear black clothes: Black Panther, Venom, Black Widow, Bane and, of course, Batman.
We can make these costumes with 5 garbage bags, and some yellow felt, to build the badge and the belt.
Patience, and some skill, will surely give a good result, and the little one will be very happy.
A costume that can also be made with garbage bags is that of Chichiyaku, a memorable animated character from the Anime.
We can also create a kind of intergalactic warrior: complementing the garbage bags with different elements made of colored cardboard. Among them, a fantastic sword made of cardboard itself.
One option for the little ones is the Disney princess costume: we will use several garbage bags and three orange plastic bags. With imagination, and some skill, we repeat, we will have an original costume for the minimum price.
These are costumes that, beyond the simplicity in terms of economic cost, will give children hope. While we collaborate, we the adults, in the saving and the ecology.
These last elements are more and more necessary in the world we live in.
