Beer is one of the most consumed beverages in the world and like practically all things, it has its own day. August 2 is beer day, a day we can celebrate in our garden, enjoying an afternoon with friends under a good awning and refreshing ourselves with a selection of different proposals.
Many different beers to celebrate beer day
The beer with low grade is the most consumed in summer, especially because it is quite refreshing. Despite this, we already know that there is a huge world dedicated to beers and we can find many different proposals.
These include wheat, less common than barley, but with a very special flavor, the lager, which are beers of low fermentation, those of double or triple malt, full of intensity and flavor, toasted, black beers or even flavored beers. We could list thousands of different beers, each with its special characteristics.
Whichever one we like the most, since 2007 the International Beer Day is celebrated every first Friday of August. It is a tradition that has its origin in a small bar in the Californian town of Santa Cruz, in the United States.
The celebration drew so much attention that it was not long in succeeding and becoming a worldwide celebration. Today this original day is celebrated in 207 cities, 50 countries and on 6 continents, making clear the great importance of this curious celebration.
